MLK holiday weekend has been great riding. The coditions are really good with all the recent natural snow. Ever since the rain from pre-Christmas week, things have been really good. The past three days were for the real hardcore with subzero windchill temps. But today was back into the mid 20's with a few inches of fresh.
Pico Mountain
Pico continues to offer the big mountain feel with a western charm. Most of the terrain is open with the exception of coarse of the Outpost double chair and the trails in that area. The snow quality is xcellent. The photo on this page was taken January 11th.
Try to catch the conditions now while they are good. You never know what New England winters will bring.
